Voyager Digital Investors Appeal to Reject Lawsuit Ruling, Challenging Mark Cuban and Dallas Mavericks Case

According to The Block, Voyager Digital investors have submitted a notice of appeal to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, challenging the Florida federal judge's decision to dismiss their lawsuit against Mark Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks. District Judge Roy Altman ruled on December 30 last year that investors had failed to demonstrate sufficient connection with Cuban in Florida and refused a motion for reconsideration on May 27. The lawsuit was filed in 2022, accusing investors of Shark Tank, former major shareholder of the Mavericks, Cuban, and other celebrity promoters of promoting unregistered securities before the platform crashed.
