SemiAnalysis: H100 spot leasing prices fall, long-term contract prices continue to rise

SemiAnalysis stated that the spot rental price of H100 Cloud Index has dropped to $2.42 per hour, a decrease of about 40% from the high point in May this year. Unlike the spot market, the price of the 1-year H100 long-term lease contract has risen from approximately $1.70 per hour at the end of last year to around $2.65 currently. The spot market serves concept validation and temporary demand, while long-term contracts correspond to continuous inference and model training in the production environment.
