This government is responsible for delivering the 2027 national budget, correcting @elespectador. The development plan of my government is valid until July of next year, and therefore its final funding is done with next year's budget, which we are presenting now. The new taxes we introduced in the tax reform only affect the wealthiest and least productive sectors of Colombian society, who must pay for the subsidies that Duque's government gave them. This reduces the primary deficit in Colombia and funds the final budget for social justice. Never forget that Mr. Restrepo, Duque's finance minister, who will now take office as vice president, indebted the country with the IMF loan, which was allocated to the wealthiest in the country and to the gasoline subsidy paid from the budget as truly wasteful expenses in an amount that exceeds today's primary fiscal deficit. If that hadn’t happened, there would be balance in public finances. I hope Mr. Restrepo corrects his historical mistake. Abelardo's historical mistake is irreversible and a crime.
