A while back, someone in the group asked me what I thought about the idea of Bitcoin becoming an 'old money' asset. I said, back in 2018 when I first entered the crypto space, you could hardly find anyone under 30 in the entire scene. The user profile was mainly small business owners + tech geeks. Compared to back then, the crypto space now is definitely skewing younger. Honestly, I don’t want to spell it out, but the current user profile in crypto is kind of sad. That said, these crypto folks nowadays aren’t even playing with Bitcoin anymore. They’re into something else… The mismatch between traffic and liquidity is pretty serious right now. It’s like: Real numbers—'Eight Immortals' made over 2 billion, 'Dragon Restaurant' pulled in over 3 billion at the box office. But on the internet, they’re getting crushed by movies with box office numbers in the millions, like 'Bull.' Online, everything’s fake—fake personas, fake marketing, fake hype.
