**[Study: The "Digital Gold" Narrative Has Limited Effect on Average Americans; Control and Micro-Investments Are More Appealing]** According to a report by CoinDesk, a survey conducted by the Bitcoin Policy Institute (BPI) revealed that the classic Bitcoin narrative of "digital gold" has limited persuasive power for average Americans, leaving respondents confused and ranking last in nationwide tests. In contrast, the most compelling messages revolved around control, past performance, and safety and convenience—emphasizing that buyers don’t need to "go all in" and can independently decide their investment amount, "even if it’s just $10." The study found that 52% of respondents fell into the "persuadable middle group," with the proportion of those completely uninterested dropping from 39% to 32% after being presented with 19 different messages, while those very interested increased from 19% to 24%. Personal financial advisors, retirement planning experts, and friends or family members who already own Bitcoin were identified as the most trusted sources of information, while celebrities and influencers ranked at the bottom.
