According to CryptoSlate, CFTC data as of August 25 shows that leveraged funds hold a net short position of approximately 41,252 BTC on CME Bitcoin futures, while the net long position on Coinbase Nano Bitcoin perpetual contracts is only about 151 BTC—making the former roughly 272 times larger than the latter. During the same period, open interest on CME Bitcoin futures was around 118,267 BTC, about 51 times the 2,322 BTC on Coinbase-related contracts. Compared to August 18, leveraged funds' net positions on CME standard and micro Bitcoin futures increased by approximately 4,072 BTC in short exposure. However, this data does not reflect whether these institutions are hedging through other markets, so it cannot be used to predict the specific direction of BTC price movements upon closing positions. https://(wublock123.com)/news/cme-leveraged-funds-bitcoin-net-shorts-41300-btc-weekly-increase-67542
