[Zhao Changpeng Shares the 'Four No's' Investment Principles: No Stock Buying, No Real Estate Speculation, No Crypto Trading, No Excess Cash Holding] According to a report by HK01, Binance founder Zhao Changpeng reflected on his journey from a rural village in Jiangsu to amassing a fortune worth hundreds of billions during an exclusive interview, sharing his 'Four No's' investment principles: no stock buying, no real estate speculation, no crypto trading, and no holding excessive cash. He explained that real estate transactions are time-consuming and offer unworthy returns, he never trades stocks or engages in short-term crypto trading, only holding assets long-term and selling portions of crypto assets when needed. 'Holding fiat currency is the dumbest investment strategy, as cash continuously depreciates,' he said. In 2013, Zhao sold his house to go all-in on Bitcoin, which saw its price drop by two-thirds and remain flat for a year and a half. In 2017, he founded Binance, which became the world's largest crypto exchange within five months. In 2023, he was sentenced to four months in prison for violating the U.S. Bank Secrecy Act but was pardoned by Trump last year. His current net worth is approximately $114.6 billion. He admitted that success involves luck but emphasized the importance of consistently making the right decisions and quickly correcting mistakes.
