[Analysis: Bitcoin Derivatives Selling Pressure Intensifies, Buyer Advantage Yet to Be Confirmed] BlockBeats News, September 14, CryptoQuant certified analyst Axel Adler Jr. stated in a post that selling pressure in the BTC derivatives market has increased over the past 24 hours. Although BTC's price rose by approximately 0.4% during the same period, the current price resilience has yet to be confirmed by stronger buying activity. Data shows that the BTC Derivatives Pressure Index has dropped from -25.36 to -60.80 over the past 24 hours and has remained in negative territory since September 6. This index takes into account active buying and selling pressure, changes in open interest denominated in BTC, and funding rates. It currently indicates that sellers are in control, but it is unclear whether this is due to an increase in short positions or the closing of long positions. At the same time, Coinbase continues to trade at a discount compared to Binance, with the latest premium index at -0.0455% and a 48-hour average of -0.0323%. If the Derivatives Pressure Index consistently returns above 0 and the 48-hour average premium rate on Coinbase turns positive again, it would signal further market improvement. However, if negative pressure persists, BTC remains at risk of another decline. [Original Link]
