Ethereum Foundation and Open Anonymity Project launch zkAPI
The Ethereum Foundation and Open Anonymity Project launched zkAPI on the Ethereum mainnet on October 1st. The system allows users to deposit ETH, USDC, and other amounts in advance, and separates billing identity from requests when making payments for AI and other pay as you go services. After depositing funds, users can make payments through zero knowledge proof and one-time API key authorization. After verifying the payment proof on the server, a short-term key with a limit is generated. The AI service provider can receive prompt words, but will not know the corresponding payment identity. ZkAPI does not hide the content of prompt words, and AI service providers can still read prompt words and responses; Stable IP addresses, time patterns, and repetitive behavior may also be associated with user identity. The code repository of this project marks zkAPI as an experimental project. (Source: Bitcoin.com News)
