Elon Musk’s interview process only involves three super simple questions, but they easily reveal deep issues about the candidate. No wonder he’s the richest man in the world❗️ 1) Tell me your life story. 2) What key decisions have you made, and why? 3) What’s the toughest problem you’ve solved, and how did you solve it? Seems pretty straightforward, right? But take a closer look at these three questions—they’re all asking the same thing: It’s not about *what you can do,* It’s about *how you think.* The first question looks at how you define yourself. The second question looks at how you make decisions. The third question looks at how you break down problems. Skills can be learned. Judgment? That’s a whole different story. Musk doesn’t hire people who are just “good at doing tasks.” He hires people who are “good at thinking through problems.” And that’s exactly what’s hardest to teach in trading. Whether you can read charts or not—it doesn’t matter. What matters is how you think and act when you’re losing money or making money.
