UK AI Secretary Kanishka Narayan stated that the UK is working with the US government to ensure that the UK AI Security Institute can obtain testing permissions before the release of the most powerful AI models. The Trump administration has requested OpenAI and Anthropic to temporarily suspend providing artificial intelligence models to the UK and prohibit Anthropic from releasing the latest models to foreign citizens.
