President Trump waives some measures of the 2026 Lindsey Graham sanctions against Russia and Iran bill

US President Trump has issued an executive order waiving the 500% tariff on Russian goods imported to the US and the 100% tariff on Russian energy related countries, as well as sanctions and investment restrictions on the Russian central bank, banks, state-owned enterprises, and government officials in the 2026 Lindsey Graham Sanctions on Russia and Iran Act. The bill was signed on September 18th, and Trump invoked presidential immunity to temporarily suspend the implementation of relevant provisions, without abolishing the bill. The sanctions against Russia previously imposed under other laws are still valid. (Source: White House, United States)
