The Ethereum Foundation announced that the Glamsterdam upgrade plan will be activated on the Hoodi testnet at 01:42:48 (UTC+8) on October 27th, and Hoodi's block gas limit will be increased to 200 million. This upgrade includes the separation of embedded proposers and builders, block level access lists, and gas billing adjustments. The Sepolia testnet was activated on October 6th, and the upgrade date for the Ethereum mainnet has not yet been determined. Node operators need to update the execution layer and consensus layer clients before Hoodi activation.
