Elon Musk: SpaceX plans to rent out half of its AI computing power and build a cluster of 440000 devices by the second quarter of 2027

Musk stated during SpaceX's third quarter earnings conference call that the company plans to distribute its AI computing power in half for personal use and half for external rental, and tends to sign short-term leasing contracts at market prices. SpaceX plans to launch a training cluster consisting of 440000 NVIDIA Vera Rubin computing devices by the end of the second quarter of 2027 to enhance Grok's competitiveness.
