Tether leads investment in financial technology company Peso's seed front wheel financing, expanding USDT payment applications in Latin America

Tether leads the seed front wheel financing of Bolivian fintech company Peso to expand USDT's payment infrastructure and daily trading applications in Latin America. Peso offers a global USD ₮ account that supports savings, consumption, investment, and cross-border transfers, and is connected to the Bolivian banking system through QR codes and ACH. The financing will be used to expand fiat and stablecoin exchange channels, merchant POS payment networks, and virtual account infrastructure. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that Peso is building a daily consumer payment infrastructure to promote the development of USD ₮ as a daily payment channel.
