Stani: Aavenomics 3.0 will introduce AAVE buyback, staking, and burn mechanisms.

During a Q3 livestream, Aave founder Stani stated that Aavenomics 3.0 will include AAVE buybacks, staking, and burning. AAVE buybacks were suspended on April 19th, the day after the rsETH vulnerability incident. The DAO has pledged 25,000 ETH to DeFi United to cover losses and arranged for Mantle to provide a credit line of up to 30,000 ETH. Prior to the buyback suspension, a proposal on the forum suggested reducing the annual buyback budget from approximately $50 million to $30 million.
