DeepSeek recently completed a financing round of approximately RMB 100 billion (about USD 15 billion), setting a new record for single-round financing in China's AI industry. The financing target for this round was increased from RMB 80 billion to RMB 100 billion. CATL and Tencent Holdings participated as major investors, with IDG Capital, Lisheng Capital, and Shixiang Capital also participating.
