Stripe and Plasma plan to launch stablecoin payment cards in over 100 countries by 2027.

Stripe has partnered with Plasma to launch a stablecoin payment card that supports transactions in USD, Brazilian Real, Euro, Mexican Peso, Colombian Peso, and stablecoins such as USDC and OUSD. The card leverages Stripe's existing multi-currency stablecoin card infrastructure, avoiding currency exchange fees and eliminating cross-border clearing wait times. The service is currently operating in over 30 countries, with a target of expanding to over 100 countries by 2027. As of 2026, the Stripe stablecoin card infrastructure is projected to handle approximately $1.2 billion in monthly transactions. Plasma One multi-currency accounts operated by Plasma will be migrated to the Stripe card infrastructure.
