Hyperliquid launches HIP-3*, Payward plans to become the first regulated deployer.

Hyperliquid has launched the HIP-3* feature, allowing deployers to configure on-chain whitelists for permissioned perpetual contract markets. This feature is enabled at the deployer's discretion and does not affect existing markets. Kraken's parent company, Payward, plans to become the first HIP-3* market deployer regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, deploying perpetual contract markets for U.S. clients.
