Cryptocurrency betting platform Gamdom is facing a $15 million ransom demand from the ransomware group Whitearmor after its hot wallet was hacked. Whitearmor claims to possess a database containing 15.42 million customer accounts and has threatened to release the data. The group released a JSON sample file as evidence and claims the attack was carried out using an old internal machine account with administrator privileges.
