As of early afternoon Eastern Time on November 3, Polymarket users predicted a 76% probability of Democrats winning the Senate and a 94% probability of winning the House of Representatives, while Kalshi predicted the corresponding probabilities to be 75% and 94%. This midterm election involves the re-election of all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 seats in the Senate. If Democrats control Congress, they would likely lead key committees regulating the digital asset industry, including those led by Elizabeth Warren and Sherrod Brown.
