ETC is a forked currency that Ethereum hard-forked after 1,920,000 blocks, and its function is very similar to Ethereum. ETC upholds the concept of decentralization and the consensus mechanism guaranteed by the blockchain. ETC firmly believes that once the blockchain starts to run, its development direction will not be swayed by any central team, but determined by the consensus of the people participating in the entire network and the consensus of the entire network's computing power. The Ethereum platform is divided into two versions: "Ethereum Classic" (ETC) and "Ethereum" (ETH). Before the fork, the token was called Ethereum.
