SiaFoundation completes V2 hard fork and reduces storage costs to a one-year low
SiaFoundation will complete the V2 hard fork and migrate the network to a lighter modular storage stack in the third quarter of 2025, launching Uterexo lightweight nodes, RHP4 protocol, QUIC network, as well as production grade renterd, hosted, and walletd. The data shows that active storage contracts increased by 4.3% to 14300, with an average storage price increase of 17.2% to 555.8 SC/TB/month.
