On November 4, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California granted a preliminary injunction application filed by plaintiffs including Blue Lake Rancheria, prohibiting prediction market platform Kalshi and its affiliated entity KalshiEX from offering any sports-related event contracts within the plaintiffs' Native American lands. The court ordered the plaintiff to provide Kalshi with boundary maps of the relevant lands no later than November 13, and Kalshi must submit an enforcement report to the court within 21 days of the injunction's issuance. The injunction applies only to the plaintiff tribe's Native American lands and is not a comprehensive ban on Kalshi's sports betting operations in California or nationwide.

Bitcoin mining company Iren reported its first quarter 2027 financial results, with total revenue increasing 66% quarter-over-quarter to $228 million. AI cloud revenue grew 182% quarter-over-quarter to $200 million, with a gross margin of 86%; Bitcoin mining revenue decreased to $28 million from $67 million in the previous quarter. The company's net loss narrowed to $263 million, and adjusted EBITDA was $66 million.
