Chainalysis claims that hackers used "offensive agent technology" to expose all users' names, usernames, password hashes, and valid tokens, and that some customers' KYT accounts were suspected of being accessed without authorization. Chainalysis has taken its transaction monitoring tools, address screening, and investigation platform offline and has asked all users to reset their passwords and rotate their API keys.
Japanese exchange Coincheck has suspended cryptocurrency withdrawals due to a malfunction in its external on-chain analytics service, while ICONOMI has also suspended withdrawals citing a Chainalysis service issue.
