Bitcoin mining company Luxor raises $16 million to expand its AI computing business.

CF Benchmarks, a subsidiary of Kraken's parent company Payward, launched the CFB Oracle, bringing the pricing benchmarks for BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF and CME Group cryptocurrency futures to the blockchain. The service provides multi-market benchmark data, enabling developers to build on-chain index funds, tokenized portfolios, and derivatives. CF Benchmarks indices currently serve products representing over $120 billion in assets. The CFB Oracle already supports Ethereum, HyperEVM, and Robinhood Chain, and Payward plans to use it for its pending regulatory approval of US perpetual contract products. This service will compete with Chainlink and Pyth.

In its IPO prospectus, Anthropic warned that power supply difficulties, rising energy costs, and infrastructure construction delays could slow the expansion of its AI business. The company anticipates increased energy expenditures, and delays in power procurement, regulatory approvals, and construction may impact data center construction. Anthropic disclosed that it may still incur related costs even if facilities are not operational or power supply delivery is delayed.
