One is Solana, a top-five L1 blockchain, and the other is a sidechain of Ethereum, both peaking at $20 billion in market capitalization. These two chains are now engaging in mutual sabotage and blocking each other. Is this the kind of thing only large projects do in a bear market? Polygon's official account, @0xPolygon, posted a screen recording: The Solana homepage showed "Mute," then unmuteed, with a caption similar to "Don't overthink it / nobody make this weird." A few minutes later, Solana's official account, @solana, directly replied with a screenshot showing that Polygon had been blocked, without further explanation. Polygon responded with "what?" Raydium, part of the Solana ecosystem, also followed suit, posting "Polygone" along with its own blocked screenshot. This doesn't seem to be the first time these two chains have fobbed each other off. Back in 2022, Solana accused Polygon of using VC funding to acquire users. Polygon claimed Solana was experiencing server outages and was a data center chain.
