ZetaChain plans to burn 55 million ZETA tokens and migrate them to Solana in December 2026.

ZetaChain has submitted a governance proposal to burn approximately 55 million ZETA tokens monthly by 2027, and has pledged not to sell any newly unlocked ZETA held by the foundation throughout 2027. After the migration is complete, no more ZETA will be issued, and token minting authority will be permanently revoked. ZETA plans to migrate to Solana on a 1:1 scale on December 9, 2026. Voting on the proposal has begun and will last for 72 hours, ending on November 7.
