Hello everyone, this is Teacher A Niu. Let's talk about the overall market situation in the cryptocurrency market these past few days.
In the past few days, the market has not shown a clear one-sided trend, but rather has been fluctuating widely, with prices moving back and forth.
As you can see from BTC and ETH, their correlation is very strong; major cryptocurrencies rise and fall in tandem. The most obvious characteristic of the market is the frequent occurrence of rapid, short-term price spikes and dips, followed by quick rebounds. These spikes repeatedly trigger stop-loss orders on both sides, indicating intense competition between bulls and bears.
Let's start with the macro picture: The core focus of the market right now is still the US CPI inflation data and the Federal Reserve's interest rate expectations. If inflation data falls, expectations of interest rate cuts will rise, and funds will be willing to enter the market, making a market rebound more likely; however, if inflation rebounds, market concerns about maintaining high interest rates will lead to a stronger dollar, higher US Treasury yields, and pressure on risk assets, making a market decline more likely.
Looking at the market structure: We are currently in a consolidation phase, with clear resistance above and support below, and the price is digesting the fluctuations within this range. Only if the price breaks through the resistance with significant volume will the bulls regain the upper hand in the short term; conversely, if the price breaks below the key support level, the rebound structure will be destroyed, and the price will continue to test lower levels.
Many people fall into a common misconception: seeing a large bullish candlestick means the bull market has arrived, and seeing a large bearish candlestick means the trend has turned bad.
Short-term fluctuations are often just short-term speculative plays, and the volatility caused by a single news event cannot directly represent the overall trend.
In this kind of volatile market, the price is most prone to swings and fluctuations, making leveraged trading extremely risky, as you can be stopped out at any time by sudden price spikes.
