Binance is restricting services to some European users; the affected accounts will be closed by the end of 2026.

--

Binance is restricting services for some European users in accordance with EU MiCA regulatory requirements. Affected accounts in France, Spain, Italy, and Poland will be closed on December 31, 2026. Deposits to affected accounts have been suspended, but users can still withdraw their assets. Binance plans to charge a monthly fee on remaining crypto asset balances starting November 29th, at either 0.025% of the balance or 10 USDC, whichever is higher. Accounts with remaining balances after December 31st will be considered inactive accounts, and assets may be converted or transferred. Binance France’s registration expired on July 2, and Binance is not currently listed in the European Securities and Markets Authority’s directory of authorized crypto service providers.
