Riot Platforms announced its Q3 2026 financial results, reporting total revenue of $181 million and net income of $4.03 million. Bitcoin mining revenue was $116 million, data center revenue was $18.4 million, and engineering revenue was $47 million. The company mined 1,637 BTC in Q3, reducing the cost per BTC to $39,265.
As of September 30, Riot Platforms held 2,418 BTC, worth approximately $202 million. In the first three quarters of this year, the company sold approximately 20,264 BTC, raising about $1.5 billion, primarily for data center construction. In addition, the company has fully repaid and terminated its $200 million Coinbase line of credit and released all pledged BTC.
