The iOS exploit tool DarkSword exploits a vulnerability in iOS 18 to run code in the background via malicious websites in Safari, stealing user passwords, files, and encrypted wallet private keys and mnemonic phrases. So far, 18 malicious websites have caused users to lose $5.57 million, affecting more than 20 wallets.
Zhao Changpeng reminded users to update their iOS systems in a timely manner, and stated that self-management means taking responsibility for oneself, and no wallet software can update the operating system on behalf of the user.
