According to BBX, yesterday's global capital markets saw a significant influx of traditional "old money" into cryptocurrency stocks, impacting asset allocation and equity transfers. Without relying on high-profile spot trading, established Wall Street funds are quietly extending their reach into tens of millions of ordinary securities accounts using their vast index tools. —Passive Expansion: Vanguard, a trillion-dollar asset management giant, made its first foray into Japanese Bitcoin treasury Metaplanet through its ETF, investing $7.5 million to acquire 4.5 million shares. — Compliance overhaul: Ark Invest spends $5.23 million to buy 65,000 shares of Circle stock, heavily betting on the on-chain dollar issuance hub. — Native Dollar-Cost Averaging: DeFi Development added 5,346 SOL tokens at a high price, pushing its base holdings up to 2.595 million tokens. The market is showing a clear dual evolutionary trend: "traditional broad-based index funds are expanding their implicit crypto exposure by passively holding Bitcoin treasury entity stocks" and "top active technology funds are using the secondary market to make large-scale acquisitions of compliant stablecoin infrastructure equity to lock in certain cash flows."
