DeepSeek founder Liang Wenfeng has entered the top ten of the Hurun Rich List with a net worth of 280 billion yuan.

The 2026 Hurun Rich List, released on October 27, shows that Liang Wenfeng, founder of DeepSeek, ranked seventh in China with a fortune of 280 billion yuan, surpassing Ding Lei of NetEase and the Li Ka-shing family. DeepSeek's pre-investment valuation reached $500 billion in August, and after completing a $10.6 billion financing round in October, its post-investment valuation exceeded $60 billion. Zhang Yiming of ByteDance saw his wealth increase by $20 billion, regaining his title as China's richest man with 670 billion yuan. Chen Tianshi of Cambricon entered the top ten with 205 billion yuan.
