Hyperliquid co-founder Jeff Yan stated that the platform's entry into the US market requires regulatory compliance through an independent operating entity built on top of the protocol. Hyperliquid's HIP-3 upgrade supports deployment in asset derivatives markets such as stocks, gold, and crude oil, and its ecosystem project, Trade.xyz, has surpassed $500 billion in cumulative trading volume.
