In pre-market trading, the semiconductor and optical communications sectors showed mixed performance. AMD rose 5.81%, Seagate Technology (STX) fell 1.38%, Western Digital (WDC) fell 0.86%, SanDisk (SNDK) rose 0.80%, Micron (MU) rose 0.14%, Nvidia (NVDA) rose 0.37%, and Intel (INTC) fell 1.09%. Tesla (TSLA) fell 5.4%, SpaceX (SPCX) fell 6.9%, and Trump Media Technology Group (DJT) fell more than 6%. Cryptocurrency stocks opened flat overall, with MicroStrategy (MSTR) up 0.90%, Coinbase (COIN) open flat, Circle (CRCL) down 0.07%, BitMine (BMNR) up 0.90%, and SharpLink (SBET) up 1.06%. In the optical communications sector, FOTO (FOTO) rose 0.21%, Marvell Electronics (MRVL) rose 0.64%, Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI) rose 2.86%, LITE rose 2.18%, Coherent (COHR) rose 2.36%, Ciena (CIEN) fell 2.11%, Fabrinet (FN) fell 2.30%, and AXT (AXTI) rose 2.57%.
