According to Jeff Park, a partner at ParaFi Capital, Anthropic faces failure due to its extreme asset-liability mismatch in its business model, the need for substantial equity backing to maintain credit, and its massive, non-cancellable computational commitments. Jeff Park pointed out that if the IPO does not see a significant increase, Anthropic will fall into a death spiral; the best outcome for the company is to be acquired or to receive an international bailout from the US government in conjunction with sovereign wealth funds from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other countries.
