In August, I wrote a tweet discussing the advanced development of blockchain games;

At that time, it was due to a significant increase in Google searches for Crypto Gaming. After observing, I looked at the on-chain data for both WEB2 and WEB3, and I clearly felt the signs of recovery:

In fact, the biggest impression blockchain games give me is that they have never truly died; they are just waiting for the next spark of human imagination to ignite them;

In other words, the development of blockchain games requires more time and cycles. It may not be realized quickly, but because of people's expectations and visions, there is an opportunity for hype every once in a while!

Therefore, I believe this is a track we must continue to pay attention to.

Once a specific case appears: where we can see the "cash flow of blockchain games + capital movements + narrative upgrades" in a trinity, that may be when the opportunity arises:

For example, the recently discussed $YGG (Yield Guild Games) @YieldGuild seems to show this trend—

1️⃣ From "Guild" to "Cash Flow"—

YGG is familiar to everyone; it was an early king of blockchain games and the pioneer of Play-to-Earn guilds.

Many people think it disappeared along with Axie, but in reality, it has been quietly evolving.

For instance, its first game, LOL Land, which has a style somewhat similar to Monopoly-Go, has generated over $3 million in revenue in the past three months, with $1.9 million just in September.

This means it is not surviving by shouting slogans but has generated real game cash flow.

2️⃣ From "Slogans" to "Real Money"

Data can explain everything:

YGG has initiated buybacks:

The following tweet shows that the team has used LOL Land game revenue to buy back tokens twice in a row. On September 27, they bought back $1 million, and currently, YGG has completed a total of $2.5 million in token buybacks:

In a token with a market cap just over $90 million, such actions are enough to form market support.

3️⃣ From "Guild" to "The Eco Steam + Binance"

What is most worth noting is the YGG game Launchpad set to launch in October.

Adopting a Fair Launch style, it is expected to have an FDV of less than $1 million.

It benchmarks against Virtuals but focuses more on games.

If successfully implemented, YGG's positioning will upgrade from "Guild" to the Steam + Binance of Web3 games, capable of incubating games while controlling distribution and traffic.

This explains why the team dares to continue buybacks: they are not betting on short-term prices but on the next explosive point of ecological narrative.

Summary—

YGG may be stepping onto the new windfall of this bull market in GAME:

On the gaming side: LOL Land proves that "playability + revenue" can coexist.

On the capital side: multiple rounds of buybacks provide solid evidence of funding.

On the narrative side: once the Launchpad is officially announced, it will be a game-changer for ecological upgrades.

Cases like YGG, which combine "cash flow + buybacks + new narratives," should provide the market with an anchor of imagination in this bull market. What we need to do is continue to monitor whether better opportunities arise.
