Bitfarms plans to allocate 50% of its future computing power to Pennsylvania and launch AI business by 2026

Odaily Planet Daily News: Ben Gagnon, CEO of Bitcoin mining company Bitfarms, stated in an interview that Bitfarms plans to place 50% of its future computing power in Pennsylvania through the acquisition of Stronghold Digital. He also talked about how the new investment portfolio in Pennsylvania provides Bitfarms with the option to enter the energy trading business, as well as Bitfarms' potential strategy to enter the artificial intelligence/high-performance computing business before 2026. (Blockspace) Previously, Bitfarms announced that it has signed a final merger agreement with Stronghold Digital Mining, expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025. According to the agreement, Bitfarms will acquire Stronghhold through a stock swap merger transaction.
