According to rumors from sources in Washington, Gary is likely to announce his resignation in early January (before Trump's inauguration) after Thanksgiving.
Eleanor added that as for who will replace Gary, former CFTC Chairman Chris Giancarlo has denied rumors of his nomination, but Robinhood Chief Legal Officers Dan Gallagher, Bob Stebbins, Paul Atkins, and Brad Bondi are still on the shortlist.
