According to Crowdfund Insider, the Gemini 2024 Global Cryptocurrency Report shows that UK cryptocurrency holders are still "unaffected" by market pressures, with 93% of existing cryptocurrency holders likely to purchase cryptocurrency in the next year. The proportion of UK holders who own cryptocurrencies will remain stable at 18% in 2024, the same as two years ago. In addition, the selling rate of cryptocurrency in the UK this year is relatively low. Only 15% of the holders sold cryptocurrency in the past six months, which is lower than that in the United States, France and Türkiye. UK cryptocurrency holders have shown a commitment to this asset class, with 59% willing to allocate at least 5% of their investment portfolio to cryptocurrency, which is 2% higher than the global average. However, UK respondents continue to express concerns about the need for a "clear" regulatory framework for digital assets in the UK, with 49% of respondents stating that clearer government regulation will enhance trust.
