PANews, November 26th: According to Yonhap News Agency Infomax, the Strategy and Finance Committee of the South Korean National Assembly has decided not to hold the plenary session originally scheduled for November 26th. This decision is of great significance as the committee was originally scheduled to discuss the crypto tax agenda. Previously, on November 25th, the tax subcommittee postponed the discussion on cryptocurrency tax due to a chaotic situation. A committee official explained that the cancellation of the plenary session was due to differences between political parties. The main opposition party, the Democratic Party of Korea (DPK), supports the implementation of the planned cryptocurrency tax, while the ruling National Power Party is pushing to postpone it for two years. The official also mentioned that other unresolved issues such as inheritance tax were also part of the decision to cancel the meeting.
