According to Foresight News, CoinFund conducted a survey in October 2024 of 44 Pre Seed, Seed, and Series A stage companies in its investment portfolio to understand their predictions for Web3 in 2025. The survey results show that 79.5% of companies plan to recruit by 2025, with 40% expecting their team size to increase by at least half. To support these goals, 70.5% of respondents plan to raise funds, with 25% planning to raise less than $10 million, 25% planning to raise $10 to $25 million, and 20.5% planning to raise over $25 million. Executives from 44 companies predict that consumer applications will be the main area of growth by 2025, followed by decentralized finance and the transition from Web 2.0 to Web 3. 77.2% of respondents believe that a killer app that will gain mainstream attention will emerge by 2025.
