Mopaverse stated on the X platform that this morning, the official X account @ ysiu of Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brands, was compromised due to unauthorized access despite having two factor authentication (2FA) set up. Criminals used this account to post false information and links about a counterfeit SOLANA token. It has been confirmed that the X platform has regained control of the @ ysiu account and is currently verifying the true ownership of the account. Evidence suggests that this may be an identity theft incident, as the account has implemented standard security measures such as two factor authentication. We are considering and implementing stronger security measures. Animoca Brands, Moca Network, or MOCA Foundation official accounts have not been compromised and strict security measures have been taken. As a security measure, all key members and official accounts have updated all identity verifications. No other vulnerabilities or unauthorized activities were found.
