According to Cointelegraph, the net inflow of US spot Bitcoin ETFs reached $35.66 billion in 2024. A report from Binance on October 25th found that nearly 80% of the demand for spot Bitcoin ETFs comes from retail investors rather than institutions. However, industry analysts such as Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan expect more institutions to participate in 2025.
