Fox Business News reporter Eleanor Terrett posted on X platform that the Chairman of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee announced the appointment of Tom Emmer as Vice Chairman of the Subcommittee on Digital Assets, Financial Technology, and Artificial Intelligence, and released a list of other Republican members, including Bill Huizenga, Warren Davidson, John Rose, and others. She also stated that although Trump has not yet officially taken office, investment bankers have indicated that a wave of mergers and acquisitions related to Trump is on the rise.
