The fundraising goal is 2 million US dollars, and currently 791000 US dollars have been raised, achieving 40% of the fundraising goal. Roman Storm has been charged with writing open source code for Tornado Cash, and its trial is scheduled for April 14, 2025, facing up to 45 years in prison, including operating an unlicensed currency trading business, conspiring to launder money, and evading sanctions.
