Franklin Templeton seeks SEC approval for new cryptocurrency index ETF, currently only containing BTC and ETH

Odaily Planet Daily News: Franklin Templeton Investments stated that the company is seeking regulatory approval to launch a new cryptocurrency index ETF. Currently, multiple companies have applied for approval of ETFs for cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin and Ethereum, such as SOL and XRP, and the approval of these ETFs is still pending. Franklin Templeton stated in a regulatory filing, "The fund may not currently hold any digital assets other than BTC and ETH. It is currently uncertain whether other digital assets will be added to the underlying index in the future If other cryptocurrency ETF applications receive approval from the US SEC, this will provide space for Franklin to modify its ETF.
