Odaily Planet Daily News: Humanity Protocol announced that Nasdaq listed company Prenetics Global Limited is partnering with it to leverage Prenetics' genetic testing capabilities to support decentralized identity verification, while also announcing the establishment of a cryptocurrency strategic reserve aimed at driving innovation at the intersection of blockchain, healthcare, and decentralized science (DeSci).
As part of this dual initiative, Prenetics has committed to investing an initial $1 million to purchase H tokens, $250000 to purchase Bitcoin, and $250000 to purchase SOL. These fund allocations will be reviewed quarterly to assess further investment opportunities, highlighting the company's strategic intention to include digital assets in its balance sheet. As of December 31, 2024, Prenetics had a cash and short-term asset balance of $84.87 million.
