According to The Block, US District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson has approved the suspension of Binance's legal dispute with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The case will be postponed for 60 days and both parties need to submit a joint status report by April 14th. Binance and the SEC submitted an application on Monday to defer the case, citing that the SEC's newly established cryptocurrency working group is developing a clearer regulatory framework. The working group is led by Commissioner Hester Peirce, appointed by SEC's new acting chairman Mark Uyeda, who recently proposed cryptocurrency regulatory priorities, including classifying some tokens as non securities.
